Should AI negotiate a settlement? Recommend litigation strategy? Influence judicial decision-making?
AI agents are rapidly moving beyond information retrieval and content generation into tasks that have traditionally required human judgment, discretion, and accountability. As these systems become more capable, important questions arise about agency, responsibility, human oversight, and the future of justice.
The Institute for AI Policy & Governance (AIPG) is conducting a survey to understand how legal professionals and justice sector stakeholders view the growing role of AI agents within legal and judicial systems.
We invite lawyers, judges, academics, policymakers, regulators, and justice sector stakeholders to share their perspectives. The findings will contribute to ongoing discussions on responsible AI governance, accountability, and the future of legal practice and justice administration.
