Description

MoeAI is an AI-powered educational assessment platform that supports educators in creating examinations, grading student submissions, generating lesson plans, and analysing assessment outcomes. Available through web and mobile applications, it is designed for use by schools, universities, and individual educators.

The platform enables users to generate AI-assisted examination questions, automate the grading of typed and handwritten assessments, provide feedback to learners, organise courses and examinations, and monitor student performance through analytics. It also supports integration with selected Learning Management Systems (LMS) through data import and export features.

MoeAI is offered through both free and subscription-based plans for educators across different educational levels. The platform incorporates human oversight by allowing educators to review and modify AI-generated grades before they are released to students. By automating routine assessment and administrative tasks, MoeAI aims to improve the efficiency of teaching, learning, and assessment processes.

Risk Classification

MoeAI has been assigned a Medium Risk classification because it processes educational content and may process students' personal information and academic performance data during assessment and grading. While the platform incorporates human oversight by allowing educators to review and modify AI-generated grades before publication, inaccuracies or biases in automated grading could affect educational outcomes if not adequately monitored. Key considerations include: 1. Processing of student assessment information and educational records. 2. Privacy and security of uploaded examination scripts and coursework. 3. Transparency regarding AI-generated grading decisions. Potential bias or inaccuracies in automated assessment. 4. Need for continued human review before grades are finalised. Secure handling of institutional and learner data.
